about me
Hello Friends!
I’m Kathleen, the designer and jeweler behind Jewelry Designs by Kathleen D’Eufemia. I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and my website to you!
Three years ago I was invited to rescue a friend who is a bead fanatic. She had one complete bedroom filled with beads. It was like walking into a candy store. Her husband threatened that if she didn’t get rid of some of her inventory she could not buy one more bead. She invited some friends over to her home and taught us how to string a bracelet.
I was hooked...
I have some formal education in jewelry making, working with silver and copper, and glass working. I am learning how to make my own unique beads, fusing glass jewelry and working with rocks and minerals at the Vallejo Gem and Mineral Association.
I am also a stained glass artist and have always been drawn to anything made from glass. I love working with crystals in particular mixing them in with pearls and muted beads
I look forward to meeting you and hopefully getting you hooked on beads, too!
Blessings,
Kathleen D'Eufemia
